My wife and I have been through a lot over the past year. We struggled with addiction, but we are proud to say we are now three and a half months sober. Our journey hasn't been easy—car troubles made it difficult to keep our jobs, and eventually, we lost our home because we couldn't pay the bills. For a while, we lived in a tent, and recently we've been staying in a motel, cleaning rooms in the morning just to cover the cost of our stay. Every day, my wife has to walk miles to her job, and I stand on the corner hoping someone will help us with a few dollars so we can eat.
We are determined to rebuild our lives. If we could raise enough money to buy a reliable vehicle, I could get back to work and make things easier for my wife. Our dream is to have a stable place to live, like a house or apartment, so we can finally feel safe and secure. We are grateful for every bit of support, and we thank anyone who is kind enough to help us in our time of need. Without this help, we would still be walking everywhere, but with your support, we have hope for a better future. Praise Jesus for giving us a chance to change our lives. My credit isn't good enough to get a loan, but one day, I hope to be in a position to help others who are struggling like we are. That would be truly amazing.
