Help us raise funds for our grandfather's recovery

We are raising funds on behalf of Tatay (father/granddad) Pabs, 81 y/o, who is currently hospitalised in the Philippines.

Two years ago, Tatay Pablo was diagnosed with fluid buildup in his lungs, leading to multiple hospitalisations for several tests and medical procedures. Three weeks ago, he was rushed to the hospital after being found with no pulse. Thankfully, he was revived, but the lack of financial resources almost prevented his admission.

Since then, tatay Pablo has been in the ICU and in the regular ward battling acute respiratory failure, pneumonia, pleural effusion secondary to parapneumonic t/c aspiration pneumonia, heart related issues and other complications. He is currently intubated and feeds through an NG tube, along with other medical devices. These complications have resulted to more infections and breathing difficulties, requiring more medications and treatments.

We hope to bring tatay Pablo home but this also means that we would need even more funds for a more accessible place to stay, oxygen tanks, other machines as well as funds for a private nurse and the medication needed.

The current hospital’s running bill as of September 30, 2024 has already reached PHP 1,639,330 (almost AUD $45,000) and continues to rise. His insurance and other government financial support still do not cover the medical expenses and our resources as a family are running low.

Please help us raise funds for Tatay Pablo so we can provide him with the care he needs to recover comfortably. Every cent, every dollar would greatly be appreciated and would make a significant difference in our situation.
