Every year, the Orchestra Students of North Gwinnett High School pour their hearts and souls into being their very best. Often forgoing typical teenage shenanigans, these students work relentlessly to improve their skills daily. Their dedication and determination are only matched by the passion with which Mrs. Lauren McCombe and Mr. David Metrio lead all 5 Orchestras. Most remarkably, they balance caring for and challenging every student.

In an effort to support and enhance the curriculum that Mrs. McCombe and Mr. Metrio have created, the NGHS Orchestra Booster Club kindly requests that you consider contributing to their fundraiser. Your donation allows us to perform maintenance and repair instruments, replace strings and bows, purchase music for performances, pay LGPE fees, and hire clinicians and sectional help as needed. After the functional and educational needs have been met, we intend to give students a safe place to be themselves, enjoy camaraderie, and make joyful memories. As we all work to rebound from the pandemic, these students have found solace and inspiration in music. Recent studies have indicated that music programs contribute to positive self-esteem by helping young people feel competent and independent and lessening feelings of isolation and loneliness. Can you help us give these students the experience they deserve?
