<div><strong>She’s a cornerstone in our family and a pillar in her church for over 30 years.</strong> A single mom who raised two boys on her own, selflessly devoting all she had to her family and Carlsbad community. For years, she has touched countless lives with her kindness, generosity, and unwavering faith.

<div>Mom is facing a heartbreaking situation. She has been diagnosed with Alzheimer’s, and we have been working tirelessly to ensure she receives the best care in a safe and comfortable environment.

<div>To fulfill this, we moved from LA to SD two years ago and bought a home with a large enough backyard to add a tiny home for her to live her last years in. Our plan was to give her peace of mind for her future and to be close to her grandson Elvis.

<div>Unfortunately, the construction company we hired (Multitaskr) took advantage of us, deceived our family, and took our money. We went into contract with them over 2 years ago, and the company never started construction of any kind. We just found out the company folded last week, firing all employees without pay and leaving dozens of families in distress. We had saved $195,000 for this critical project, which they have stolen. As a result, we are now in a dire situation. <strong>My mother-in-law's safety and well-being are at risk, and we need to act quickly to get her moved onsite before her condition worsens.</strong> We have consulted with lawyers, and while pursuing legal action is an option, it’s costly and we’ve learned that it could take 3-5 years—a timeline that is simply too long given mom’s urgent needs. We have exhausted all our other resources and now find ourselves in the difficult position of asking for help.

<div>It is incredibly hard for us to ask for financial support, but we need to complete a home as soon as possible to provide mom with the safe and comfortable environment she deserves.
</div>
<div>If we can raise the full amount, we will continue with our original planned project (already permitted and city approved).
</div>
<div>If we fall short but come close, our backup plan is to purchase a prefab mini home and move mom onsite as soon as possible.
