Your donation will help us produce a Charity Song

Dear readers, dear Donors, 

We at the NGO “Center of Jamaican Culture & Development gUG” have a very worthy cause project for you to support.

Our vision is to produce a Charity-Song that helps us to raise money to build a Health Center in Cheesefield District in North Eastern St. Catherine, Jamaica. 

More than 600,000 people live in St. Catherine and they only have two ambulances in the Linstead Hospital to serve this large population. The problem is, when there are three emergency calls and one of them is an urgent case where a pregnant lady is about to give birth in Cheesfield District, or if someone needs an urgent treatment, there would be no other way that someone would need to wait several hours to be treated and in the worst case, they would even die because of the delay.

These people are in desperate need of a Health Center. But also people beyond Cheesefield surrounding districts and villages borders, for example Moneague, Faiths Pen, Crofts Hill, New Works, York Street, Treadways, Redwood, Benbow, Guy’s Hill and more will benefit from it. 

We plan to build and equip the Health-Center according to the standards of german hospitals.  Many foreign people go to Jamaica on vacation. If they would become sick or have an accident they will also be able to get a medical treatment and a service that german hospitals provide.

To raise the awareness of this matter we ask you to please donate to help produce a Charity-Song so we can raise money to build a Health Center in Cheesefield District, Jamaica.  

We believe that music is a powerful way of connecting and uniting people. Especially in these dark and uncertain times it brings light and hope for a better future. Just like the legend Michael Jackson did where he brought many glorious artists for the song „USA for Africa - We Are the World“ together to inspire the collective and to heal the world.

We, as artists want to work and create magic together and produce something that is so powerful that brings out the best in people. We want to remind everyone that their support can make a difference. Music is therapy and an integral part of the human experience. With this Charity-Song we will express our love for unity, our belief in faith and encourage everyone to take action. 

For this we are also planning a benefit concert with thirteen artists that will sing and perform the Charity-Song. Because of the work we put in producing the song and planning and organizing the event, we are in need of 3.400,00 Euro. This covers the costs of the recording studio, the camera crew, catering and promotion. All of the donations will go into this project and will only be used for that.

Your support and donation will help us to produce this inspirational song and to raise more awareness for the cause of building a Health Center in Jamaica. 

Due to the covid vaccines that will be on the market, we hope to release and perform the song on our next benefit concert live on stage at the „Julius-Leber-Haus (AWO)” Meisterringstr. 59, 45307 Essen, Germany. 

For donations from 35,00€ or more we want to express our gratitude by sending you a free copy of the produced song and also a  „VIP Ticket“ for our next concert where you can go backstage and meet the artists if you like. But no matter how small or big your donation will be, it is going to good use for our project.
