In the span of just six heartbreaking weeks, our Aunt Susie suffered the unexpected and unimaginable — losing both her son, Alex, and her husband, Jon. These devastating and unexpected losses have left her not only grieving but also in a very vulnerable financial position.

She currently lives in North Carolina without income or benefits, and staying in her current home is no longer possible. Our family is working hard to move her to West Virginia to stay with her sister (my mom), where she’ll have shelter, love, and support. Unfortunately, the move costs more than we can manage on our own — from packing and transportation to ensuring she doesn’t have to pay another month’s worth of rent and expenses, she simply cannot afford.

We are asking for help to make this transition as smooth and quick as possible, so she can begin healing without the added stress of financial burden.
