<div>We need your help to produce Little Town Big Data, an independent documentary that will follow and support the movement related to the proposed data centre attached to a thermal power plant right inside the town limits of Olds. This project raises serious questions about our air quality, water resources, energy demands, farmland, and the long-term livability of our close-knit community.

<div>Olds is a proud, hardworking prairie town – not a sacrifice zone for big tech's unlimited appetite for power and data. A data centre tied to a thermal power plant could mean increased emissions, massive electricity consumption, potential strain on local infrastructure, and permanent changes to the character of our town. We believe the risks far outweigh the promised benefits, and the public deserves full transparency before any approvals move forward.
