My fiancé and I are expecting our first baby, and we’re working hard to create a safe, comfortable home before our little one arrives. We recently got a trailer in Alabama, hoping it would be a fresh start for our family. Unfortunately, when we started renovations, we discovered the house was in much worse shape than we expected. There’s black mold in the walls, holes that need patching, and the floors are rotten in several places. The cost of materials here is much higher than what we’re used to in Mississippi, and every weekend I drive three hours each way to work on the house while still trying to keep up with my job and bills.

 With the baby on the way, our expenses have grown, and I’ll be taking a big pay cut to move closer to home. It’s become almost impossible to afford everything we need to make the trailer safe and ready for our new arrival. Every dollar raised will go directly to buying supplies to replace the walls and floors, repaint, and make sure our home is healthy for our family. Your support will also help us keep up with everyday bills and make sure my fiancé and our baby have what they need during this stressful time.
