Cynthia was more than your average mother, grandmother, wife, sister. She was strong, she was resilient, she was powerful. Growing up on her family farm in Grants Pass OR along her dad and mom, unknowingly to her; she began to be the matriarch for her family. She raised her siblings from their young ages to adulthood. She started her journey fighting breast cancer in 2013, with the strongest radiation and chemotherapy treatments, she survived her diagnosis. We thought we were in the clear, she kept it at bay for several years. Unfortunately after a fall in 2019, she was re diagnosed with cancer. It took over her and her entire body and brain. But what it didn't take was her spirit, her love for her family, and everyone surrounding. She loved her grandbabies more than anyone could love another. Cynthia was a singer with the most beautiful voice, she inspired so many and fought those who were against her. She named her band Country Sunshine, and that's what she is to all of us.
Our Country Sunshine.
