Help us lay Americo J Cavallo to rest
Donation protected
On September 5, 2021, my grandfather, Americo J Cavallo, 81, was called home to God. Born in New Britain on February 1, 1940. A graduate of New Britain High School where he excelled at football, one of Americo’s proudest accomplishments was being recruited to the University of Alabama where he played under the great “Bear” Bryant. He became an entrepreneur upon returning home, owning and operating American Amusements. For many years, he was a friendly and familiar face at local establishments in Bristol and surrounding towns, and made countless friends and business associates. A man of many talents, he enjoyed building, renovating and tinkering on just about anything, though he was happiest when hosting, being surrounded by his family and friends, cooking one of his specialties and serving his homemade wine and spirits. He lived his life “his way” and will be greatly missed, leaving many treasured memories.
We are all devastated with the loss of our loved one and were not prepared for the high cost of a funeral service. I started this go fund me in hopes that anyone fortunate enough could help our family give Americo the funeral service he deserves to honor his memory and say our last goodbyes. The cost of services exceed $11,000 and anything more raised will be contributed to the Dementia Society of America at http://www.dementiasociety.org
Please consider donating if you are able to do so. We are so very grateful for every donation during this difficult time.
