We are Umbra. You know when you're driving on the road during sunrise/sunset and the sun is directly in your eyes? You put down the normal car visor, and if you're tall, the visor may block your entire visibility of the road. If you're short, the visor may not block the sun at all. It leaves you completely blinded, and you cannot drive safely. That's why we came up with a solution to this problem: the Umbra Visor. The Umbra Visor is a tinted polycarbonate curved visor that can swivel to 7 different angles and lock at each position with our magnet snap rail system. It's easy to flip it down and attach it to your current car visor, with a simple snap clip. We started this business and the idea in our school-led entrepreneurship class: IncubatorEDU, at Vandegrift High School. We are trying to raise $1000 to move on to the next class: AcceleratorEDU, and that is where we officially launch our business and start selling this crucial car safety product.
