<div>Today, we are raising funds for our first major project: the launch of a specialist paediatric transport service centred around a fully equipped paediatric ambulance designed to support children and young people who cannot travel easily through conventional means.

<div>While this is our first project, it is only the beginning of a much larger vision to improve healthcare access and support for individuals and families within our communities.

<div><strong>Why Wings2Fly Was Created</strong>

<div>Wings2Fly was born from both personal experience and years of working on the frontline of healthcare.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>In 2018, after losing my grandmother, I wanted to create something meaningful—something that could make a genuine difference during some of life's most difficult moments. As a paramedic, I had already witnessed how often patients and families struggled, not only with illness itself, but with accessing the care and support they needed.
</div>

</div>
<div>Then life took an unexpected turn.
</div>
<div>During the COVID-19 pandemic, I became seriously unwell and spent more than two and a half years rebuilding my own health. That experience gave me a deeper understanding of how quickly circumstances can change and how easily everyday tasks can become significant challenges when health is taken away.

<div>Today, working in patient safety, I continue to see the barriers people face when trying to access healthcare. Whether it is a child with complex medical needs, an individual recovering from major surgery, someone living with a disability, or a family navigating long-term illness, the challenge is often the same.

<div>Accessing care is not always straightforward.

<div>For some people, the journey itself becomes one of the greatest obstacles.
</div>

<div>That is why Wings2Fly exists.

<div>Our first major project is the launch of a specialist paediatric transport service that will provide safe, comfortable, and compassionate transport for children and young people with additional healthcare needs.

<div>For many families, attending hospital appointments, specialist clinics, treatments, and healthcare services is far more complicated than simply travelling from A to B.
</div>

</div>
<div>Children with complex medical conditions, disabilities, long-term illnesses, or ongoing treatment requirements often face significant challenges when travelling. What should be a routine journey can become stressful, exhausting, and overwhelming for both the child and their family.

<div>No family should have to struggle to access the care their child needs.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Our specialist transport service aims to reduce those barriers by providing a safe and supportive environment designed specifically around the needs of children and young people who require additional assistance when travelling.
