<div>We are a group of motivated high school students from Science Hill High School in Johnson City, TN, coming together to launch our school’s first-ever iGEM (International Genetically Engineered Machine) team. iGEM is a prestigious, global synthetic biology competition where students design real-world biological solutions to pressing problems in health, sustainability, and the environment.

<div>Starting a brand-new team from the ground up is exciting—but also expensive.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>To officially compete, we must cover team registration fees, as well as the lab supplies, materials, and safety equipment needed to design, test, and present our project. As a new team without institutional funding yet, we are turning to our community for support.
