<div>We are four students from New York City who came together to start <strong>a youth-led nonprofit dedicated to challenging the harmful and unrealistic beauty standards amplified by social media. </strong>What began as conversations among friends quickly grew into a mission shaped by both lived experience and urgency.

<div>Within our own families and communities, we have witnessed the devastating impact of toxic beauty expectations, especially the ways they contribute to disordered eating, low self-worth, and long-term mental health struggles. <strong><em>For many of us, this includes seeing how cultural pressures, particularly within Asian communities, can intensify these issues through colorism, diet culture, and harmful beauty practices.</em></strong>
