My wife and I made the decision to go back to school and further our education, hoping to prepare ourselves for the challenges ahead. I returned to pursue my BA, and she began medical school. While every month was a struggle, we managed to keep up with our bills, sometimes just barely, but always finding a way to make it work.

 Everything changed when my mother-in-law suffered a debilitating stroke. She barely survived, and we took her in because there was no one else who could care for her. This has brought tremendous financial hardship to our family. We've sold almost everything we own and have already taken out other loans, but now we're at a point where we're in real danger of losing our car, our house, and everything we've worked so hard for. The fear and uncertainty are overwhelming, and we need a miracle to make it through.
