Help us keep our garden open!
The Secret Garden is a not-for-profit ‘Community Hub’ situated on 15 acres at the Western Sydney University campus in Richmond, NSW.
Due to unforeseen circumstances the recycled water that we have relied upon for irrigating our therapeutic garden and nursery has recently been withdrawn. With another long, hot summer approaching, we desperately need to purchase new water tanks, pumps and plumbing equipment to allow us to keep operating.
The garden is managed by North West Disability Services and we run daily programs for people with disabilities. The Secret Garden doesn’t receive any government funding, so we rely upon sales in our plant nursery to survive, with all profits going directly back into providing our services to the community.
As an invaluable community service (not to mention a beautiful place for everyone to visit!) we are asking for your kind donations and all help will be much appreciated.
