Help us keep Chosica Peruvian Restaurant Open

Hello, my name is Mirtha. I am the owner of Chosica Restaurant located in 3065 W Bancroft Toledo, Ohio. Because we are immigrants and not citizens, we were denied loans and grants that other restaurants received during the pandemic, we received $5000 from the city of Toledo during 2021 which was one of the only helps we ever got but with all the debt we had it did not help much. Due to that, we were desperate on getting a loan in order to sustain the restaurant and sadly, were victims of scam loans that would charge us around $300 daily and others up to $1000 weekly and had incredible interest rates that would even go up to 100%. Because of that we stayed behind on payments but we were able to sustain the restaurants thanks to all the people from the city of Toledo that visited our restaurant and increased our sales, but sadly due to no working capital we weren’t able to do marketing, so the amount we were making monthly wasn’t enough, and when inflation came around and prices of everything went up that just completely destroyed us, we got behind on rent and now going into 2023 we get a notice stating that we will not be allowed back into the restaurant until we pay the rent that we owe plus late fees. Because of that, we are asking everyone that reads this to please help us by donating as much as you can so that we can pay our bills.
