Help us improve the mobiles!

We ARE HOPING to raise $1,250 to purchase interlocking foam mats to replace the rugs in our 4th and 5th grade mobile classrooms. The mats will be washable and resistant to mold and mildew.  This is an unanticipated expense that CMS will not cover.  As part of the effort to protect indoor air quality, the district removed all rugs and carpets from our individual mobiles! Since most of our teachers still want an area for students to sit, they would like to replace the rugs with mold/mildew-resistant foam mats. This is a large, unexpected expense that we did not plan for in the PTA budget, so we hope you will consider a contribution to help protect the indoor air quality in our trailers! If we exceed the $1250 we need for 4th and 5th grade, we also have requests for mats from other teachers.
