Our beloved mother, Mary Emma Beverly Ann Frees was born in 1956 in Saint John, New Brunswick. Her life was not easy, it was shaped by resilience, hardship, deep courage and a powerful love of her family.

We are asking for your support in two meaningful ways:

1. To help us lay our beautiful mother to rest with dignity and peace. We want to honour her with a farewell that reflects her quiet strength, compassion, and the unconditional love she gave throughout her life.

2. To honour her Legacy by supporting the grandchildren she loved with all her heart. She often dreamed of being able to give her grandchildren a better start in life - to help lift them up, support their futures, and to be a part of the opportunities she never had. This fund will help carry that dream forward, in her name and in her spirit.

Mary's early years began in the warmth of her grandparents' home in Dalhousie, NB, a small coastal town filled with love and family. Unfortunately that childhood safety was taken from her far too soon.

Despite the trauma, she carried on. Our mother lived a simple life but her love ran deep. She was a giver, a fighter, and someone who always stood up for the people she loved. Especially those who didn't have much. Now, we hope to carry that same love forward by giving her a peaceful rest and sowing into the lives of the family she held closest to her heart.
