It is with profound sadness that we share the news of the passing of Steve Odira—beloved son, brother, friend, and visionary. Steve was a brilliant young man whose passion for geospatial sciences and commitment to his future inspired everyone who knew him. He was preparing to further his studies in the U.S. this summer, eager to make a lasting impact on the world.

Steve's love for country music, his signature beret hats, and his kind, thoughtful nature left a mark on all who crossed his path. He will be remembered for his warmth, intellect, and quiet resilience.

Steve’s funeral will take place in Kenya from August 27th, with his burial on August 28th. We are raising funds to support his family in organizing a dignified funeral and burial, one that honors Steve’s life and legacy.
