On Thursday, September 18th, our beloved Steven passed away after a long and courageous battle with medical complications stemming from a spinal cord injury he sustained in March 2021. That injury, caused by a reckless driver, left Steven paralyzed but never defeated. Through every challenge, Steven showed remarkable strength, grace, and resilience. He lived with dignity and fought with determination! Just a few months back, Steven was able to witness the sentencing of the driver responsible for his injury, which we are all grateful he was able to see.

Steven was more than a survivor, he was a devoted father, a loyal friend, and a source of light to everyone who knew him. His greatest pride was his daughter, Selina, who is currently in her sophomore year of college. He dreamed of seeing her thrive, graduate, and build a life filled with opportunity and joy.

We are raising funds to honor Steven with the celebration of life he deserves. One that reflects his spirit, his courage, and the love he gave so freely. In addition, a portion of the funds will go toward supporting Selina’s college tuition, helping to carry forward the dream Steven held closest to his heart.
