Our hearts are shattered. On August 8th we lost our beloved Darlene Williams after years of unimaginable pain and struggle. She endured multiple amputations, constant infections, and endless hospital stays—yet through it all, her heart remained wide open.

Darlene was the most selfless and caring soul you could ever meet. She took care of everyone—family, friends, neighbors—and loved every child as if they were her own. She gave her time, her love, and even when she had nothing, she still found a way to give.

She fought so hard to stay with us, but when her body could no longer carry the weight of her suffering, she slipped away, leaving a hole in our lives that will never be filled. With no life insurance and very limited funds, our family is unable to cover the funeral and burial she deserves.
