Final update
Daddy passed away sometime before 6:30 am Monday February 24th.
Update
Daddy came home on hospice Friday February 21st. He is no longer able to take any fluids or any food. Because he has lost his ability to swallow. Instead of the weeks we thought we were given they said it would be more like days because he is so emancipated. Thank you all for your continued prayers and support. They are felt and very much appreciated during this time.
Hi, my name is Suzanne Locklear. I am asking for help with cremation costs for my daddy, Dallas Taylor. He is being brought home with hospice this Friday, February 21, 2025. He was diagnosed with bladder cancer in December 2023. In December 2024, he had his bladder removed, and we found out his cancer had spread to his prostate. His surgeon was unable to remove it due to the severity of the cancer. After his 8-week check-up from surgery, he had a PET scan done to check on his cancer. We received the news this Monday that the cancer has spread once again, this time to his lymph nodes and pelvic bones. On Saturday the 15th, I had to call an ambulance to take him to the hospital because he was delirious and couldn’t speak. The doctors drew blood and said his white blood cells were 31,000. A healthy person’s cell count is below 10,000. After antibiotics had no effect on him, it was determined that the spike in white blood cells was due to the aggressive cancer that was quickly taking over my daddy. They have given him 30-90 days to live with a more realistic outlook of just weeks! He has no life insurance and was living on social security after having to leave his job of 26 years with Walmart of Statesboro. Please, please help in any way you can to help us give my daddy a final resting place as were his wishes. Thank you for taking the time to read this, and God bless!
