Brenda Smallin was the youngest of four siblings, taken from our family at a young 61 years and only a week or so after her birthday. She endured multiple surgeries, including heart valve replacement, cancer diagnoses, and a life watching her older siblings endure medical hardships and terminal illnesses. She was preceded in death only four years earlier by her mother, and the family is still enduring financial hardship after financing the services and burial of their mother. Brenda's cremation is being covered by the hospice organization that took great care of her needs. We are asking for help with her burial. We are looking at having her interred in a mausoleum at Cherokee Memorial Park in Lodi California, with her in the same cemetery overlooking the grave sites of her parents as per her final wishes.
Our plan is to have her service at Cherokee Memorial Park in Lodi, California. She will be laid to rest. No service date as of yet. We will keep everyone updated as soon as we can. In addition to your support, we are also asking Cherokee Nation for support, as she was Cherokee Tribal Member. We have no firm date at this time. We will let everyone know as soon as possible.
