We are heartbroken to share the sudden and tragic passing of our beloved brother, nephew, and grandson Antone Brooks.

On Saturday, July 26, 2025, while walking to the store, Antone was struck by two vehicles in a devastating hit-and-run. Neither driver had the dignity and humanity to stop. Officers with the Prince George’s County Police Department found Antone in the road, and he was rushed to the hospital. Despite every effort to save him, Antone passed away the following day, Sunday, July 27, 2025. The investigation is ongoing and is classified as a fatal pedestrian hit-and-run.

Antone was a loving, kind, and bright young man who touched the lives of everyone he met. His smile, warmth, and generosity will forever be remembered. We were not prepared for such a sudden heartbreaking tragedy; a loss too deep for words.
