In loving memory of Annette K. Berry
Donation protected
It saddens our hearts with the unexpected passing of our beloved grandmother Annette K. Berry, on January 13, 2025, at Hudson Valley Hospital. She was sent there on December 20, 2024 for her blood pressure, and in turn, multiple organ failure followed. She spent most her stay with her family at her bed side faithfully everyday. While being put on life support, her heart stopped twice, one before being intubated and the second time during intubation. God wasn't ready for her, my grandmother fought so strong in her 3 week stay. We understand at times we were being selfish with trying to hold on to her, we had to come to the agreement that we didn't want to prolong her suffering and have her stay here for us. We knew we had to let her go which was when we had to remove her from life support which broke us, this was one of the hardest things we've experienced, we thought we were going to lose her then but she continued to fight for 3 more days.
Annette leaves behind her two daughters, five grandchildren and five great grandchildren. She was beyond loving and caring and was known to everyone as "mom" and "nana". Her love was endless! She loved being with her family, that was her happiest time. She enjoyed crocheting and needlepoint, although she missed being able to do these things due to the loss of her eyesight in the last few years because of her illness.
As we navigate this difficult time, we ask for any donations possible to help cover her funeral and memorial expenses which will be greatly appreciated. Please help us give her the beautiful memorial service that she deserves.
