<div>Our hearts are breaking as we share this. Nearly seven weeks ago, my dad Kenneth Sorenson, a man so many of you know, love, and respect — was suddenly hospitalized. Since then, he’s endured strokes, kidney failure, multiple procedures after being transferred to the Huntsman Cancer Institute, we learned he has TP53 leukemia, a rare and aggressive cancer with a survival rate of only 20%.

<div>Through every diagnosis, every hospital stay, and every treatment, my dad has fought with a strength and determination that has amazed us all. But the chemo didn’t work, and yesterday he suffered a heart attack. We have now made the painful decision to place him on hospice care. We don’t know how much time we have left with him.

<div>He’s our rock, our storyteller, our safe place. He’s a man who has touched countless lives in this community with his kindness, humor, and generosity. We want to give him the farewell he deserves: a beautiful celebration of life and cremation arrangements that honor the man he is.
