Why join our Back-to-School Fundraising campaign?

Education is a fundamental right that every child deserves. Unfortunately, many students from low-income families face significant barriers when it comes to accessing quality education. Our campaign aims to address these challenges by providing essential school supplies, educational resources, and financial support to ensure that every student has an equal opportunity to thrive academically.

Our primary goal is to raise $4,500 in funds to provide essential school supplies, educational materials, and scholarships to 47 underprivileged students (23 in secondary schools, 24 in primary schools, and 5 in early-childhood education).

1. Providing Essential School Supplies:

One of the main goals of our campaign is to equip students with the necessary tools for success. By donating to our fundraiser, you can help us provide backpacks, notebooks, pens, pencils, calculators, art supplies, and other essential items that students need to excel in their studies. These supplies not only enhance their learning experience but also boost their confidence and motivation.

2. Providing Scholarships for Underprivileged Students:

Scholarships for underprivileged students are crucial in providing equal educational opportunities, breaking the cycle of poverty, promoting diversity and inclusion, and encouraging academic excellence.

Grown to Help (GTH) is a Rwandan, non-governmental, non-profit organization based in Kigali; registered and operating by Rwandan law. It aims at transforming the lives of children from low-income families by giving them access to quality education and helping their parents to develop self-reliance through financial literacy education professional training and small business creation.

No contribution is too small, and every dollar counts. Together, we can make a significant impact on the lives of these students and inspire them to reach for the stars.

$100 - Can cover 1 term school fees for a Student in High school

$80 - Can equip a student in 9&12 years’ basic education with a kit of school supplies and fees for 1 term

$50 - Can equip 2 students in high school with school kits

$20 - Can buy 2 pairs of school uniforms

$15 - Can buy 1 pair of shoes

$10 - Can buy 12 packs of sanitary pads and keep 1 girl in school for 12 months

$5 - Can buy 1 packet of 50 pens
