Help us, Help Neely

After chatting with Neely last night about her new medications and blood sugar machine she had mentioned that some people have offered to help her pay for parts of it along side Neelys already expensive and excessive medication list, Neely kindly declined, which got me thinking that Neely would really beneifit from this. Truth is She does need help and is too proud to ask. If we can make the smallest difference, take a some of the weight off her shoulders i know she would be ever so greatful.
Neely is one of the most selfless people i know, she would put anyone first like she has done her entire life, Even to this day while she is not at her strongest she will do anything she could for her family and friends.
Please note this is Neelys Long story short:
Neely is 33 years young and was diagnosed with Cystic Fibrosis as a young girl, at 26 Neely recieved a double lung transplant and in turn a second chance at life. Everything was going great until last year. Neely was diagnosed with Bowel Cancer,
Im very proud to say, she kicked cancer's butt!
Unfortunately Kidney failure is kicking Neelys butt at the moment and Neely needs a new kidney. Neely has been on Dialysis for a few months now waiting for potential living donors to go through testing. However dialysis is taking its toll on Neelys already struggling body. Neely was told that they need to put her kidney transplant on hold, Neely is too sick to sustain the transplant operation.
Currently Neely's medical team is focusing all their efforts and energy into getting her blood circulation back to normal , her lung function back up and her diabetes under control before they will go back to discussing a kidney transplant. Sadly Neelys new lungs are also getting a battering with her lung function going from 103% down to a mere 60%.
Neely is going to dialysis 6 days a week for 6 hours a day so maintaining a job is not possible and hasnt been possible since her cancer diagnosis.
Disgustingly Neely isnt "sick enough" to be able to get any assistance from centerlink which means she is having to pay out exuberant prices (with almost no income) for her medications, her most recent and costly is her new BSL sensor which is costing her $92 a fornight all because she can no longer prick her dead fingers to get blood and test her blood sugar levels, An ongoing fight that Neely should not have to fight, But she is hoping for a win soon.
Neely has a wonderful support network and i know if we all pull together we can really make a difference to her already stressfull life.
