Here at Bodhi Glow farm sanctuary we rescue animals from abuse and certain death.
We took in our sweet goat Meggie, but we are understanding she needs a herd of her own and isn't doing well as a loan goat.
However, before we can rescue more goats we need to build a sturdy goat enclosure and pen. As we've realised goats are escape artists and to keep them safe they need to have good quality fencing. The fencing we have for our cows and pigs hasn't managed to contain our Meg, so for her to have a herd we know we need a separate enclosure with higher fencing.
Australia is the biggest exporter of goat meat and there's no shortage of goats needing rescue and a safe sanctuary. But we need to make sure we have our very own goat world set up, with a pen and plenty of toys to keep them entertained.
We have a carpenter and team of volunteers willing to help us build it, but we need to fund raise for the building materials.
Goats are the sweetest, smartest and loving animals. They deserve love and a safe home. Please help us to help them and get Meggie some friends so she can be happy and have a rich and fulfilling life!
We are trying to raise these funds asap. We have a human baby arriving in two months too and want the goats settled asap before the baby arrives!
