Help us Help Lori

Donation protected
Lori is a wife, a mother, a sister, an aunt, and a dear friend who needs our help.

On July 31, 2017 Lori was doing one of her daily routines when she lifted her right arm and suddenly her Humerus broke with no trauma or injury.

The blinding pain drove her to seek medical assistance and after an emergency room visit, casting of the arm, multiple x-rays, CT-scans and MRI’s, it was discovered she has Plasmacytoma with Multiple Myeloma. (Multiple myeloma is a type of blood cancer of the plasma cells which are found in the bone marrow. The prognosis and treatment of solitary plasmacytomas is very different to multiple myeloma. Plasma cells are a type of white blood cell that develops from mature B-lymphocytes in the bone marrow.)

On August 7, 2017 orthopedic surgery was performed to repair Lori’s arm to insert a plate and screws. Surgery was successful and she is currently working on regaining her mobility but her battle with Plasmacytoma and MM has just begun.

She will need chemotherapy and stem cell replacement surgery in order to live a healthy life.

This page is set up to collect donations to help defer the mounting medical bills for Lori and her family.
