Update 05/26/2021 We want to express our sincere gratitude to all the donors who have donated to this initiative. With your help we were able to donate our last collection to Austin Arya Samaj(501c Org). They have been doing incredible work on ground by sending 10 L oxygen concentrators, providing food to the needy and helping with last rituals. If you have donated to this go fund me and know someone who needs food or does not have money to perform last rituals please reach out to us we will be able to help with the help of Austin Arya Samaj. With this last donation to this cause we here by declare to close this initiative with a hope that we are progressing towards normalcy slowly but steadily.

We are proud to collaborate with Tadka Dance, in Austin, that is raising funds for our dear families and friends affected by the deadly second COVID-19 wave in India. Funds collected by them will pooled in with our collections and will be used to send medical supplies to the needy in India. We have collaborated with Doctors For You and have already sent one shipment and are looking to help other organizations too.
Tadka Dance brings to you a dance-a-thon like no other! Come join us on Saturday May 8th, 11:00am CST for a 90-min Fitness class in the PARK, with Jabari, Aish, Erin and Tanvi, as we raise funds for our dear families and friends affected by the deadly second COVID-19 wave in India.
How can our donors participate?
Our Austin based donors can participate in this dance event FREE of charge. Just show your receipt that you have received when you donated to our Go Fund Me Drive and your entry will be free. You do not need to make any additional donation.
You're in store for a power-packed dance session with Tadka, to not only help support the cause but to also help uplift your own positive vibrations.

Update 2- Here is an update on our efforts, so you know that every penny you have donated is being used to help India heal. We have collaborated with Doctors for you (dfyusa.org)in India and their partners here. With their help and your timely donations we were able to send our first batch of High Quality, best brand 110 Phillip’s oxygen concentrators today, via Air india Cargo, for no shipping cost. The shipment will be shipped to India on Wednesday. The pictures show the 110 concentrators and 500 Oxymeters We have been told that it will be put to use immediately to help the ones who are struggling for oxygen.

Update 1 - NOW IS THE TIME TO ACT WE WANT TO HELP ASAP, YOU CAN HELP US!
We are in touch with people working on the ground in the worst hit areas, specially in Delhi. Our attempt is to procure 10L medical grade concentrators that will be delivered to the Delhi Govt COVID centers. They have beds but they are in dire need of concentrators. We have contacts who will identify and reach to these centers. we are trying to send first batch on MONDAY as many as we can. We are trying to get free shipping so we need to collect as much as we can TARGET - $17000 by tomorrow morning so we can finalize our first batch. WE CAN DO THAT ONLY WITH YOUR HELP!
MISSION AND THE BACKGROUND
1. Thanks for checking out our fundraiser! We made this initiative after personally hitting rock bottom with our friends and families not able to find Oxygen in India- where the situation is so worse that people are laying down on the streets outside the hospitals, just In a hope they will receive medical aid.
2. Covid19 has hit India terribly, with hundreds of people dying everyday not because of the virus itself but due to LACK OF OXYGEN!
3. We as citizens of this planet has pledged to help these people whom we know need help.
WHERE WILL YOUR MONEY GO?
The Donations collected from the Gofund me account will be withdrawn as it reaches to multiples of 5K, We will buy as many concentrators as we can, We have our team contacting the vendors for best price with shipping. We will update here once the vendor and price is finalized. It will be then shipped to our coordinator in India.
Once the product reaches our coordinator in India, our Volunteers in India who are dealing with Covid patients on ground zero will identify the most needful. The concentrator will be provided to the most needy. We will not be charging anything to the person whom we will provide the concentrator, however we will try to recycle them if possible to keep the chain going.
The donors can also identify the needy and get in touch with us. Our coordinator in India will verify the need and urgency as we also aim provide the concentrator to our donor's loves ones too.
1. The situation in India is getting worse day by day, where the greedy hoarders are selling the oxygen cylinders and concentrators at 1000 times the price due to increased demand and almost no availability.
2. The donated money will be used to export oxygen concentrators- a device used to make oxygen from the air, to treat patients in the need of oxygen therapy. You as a donor can also contact us if any of your known person needs it. Our goal is also to circulate these machines after it has helped a family and now they are ready to release it in our pool to further be donated. Our sources will verify the need and urgency to make a decision to release the equipment.
3. 100% of your money will help us buy these oxygen concentrators and deliver them to those in need AT NO COST. However we welcome any donations from the families that received help and are in a situation to support this initiative-that will help continue this effort.
