Help Us Heal Oji's Heart!

Meet Oji! Oji was abandoned by his previous owners and was found in the middle of a typhoon. He is a very sweet, loving, and quiet dog! However, a trip to the vet uncovered that Oji was neglected as he has severe heartworm. The vet first prescribed the slow kill method, but unfortunately it didn’t make a difference. Oji’s heartworm is so severe that it is causing murmurs in his heart and our only option is to administer the fast kill option. The fast kill process is very intense as he’s not allowed to go on walks, play with his fosters, or do any activities that could get him excited. But Oji has been such a trooper! Although it is called the fast kill method, it does take 4-6 months to completely get rid of the heartworm and for Oji’s health to get back to normal. It is also a very expensive process! The cost is around $500 and OAARS needs your help! All proceeds will go to pay for Oji’s treatment. OAARS will also send personal updates and pictures of Oji as he is going through this process to those who donate!
