Welcome to Hurt's Desserts!


As a minority owned establishment, we take pride in our family business. We create unique ice cream treats and baked goods for our hometown in El Paso, TX, also known as the Sun City! El Paso has the most sun year round of any city in the great state of Texas and we want to take advantage of that.

Our dream as a food truck is to go completely solar and help reduce the emissions on our planet.

Our family business is something that we want to pass down to our children and their children. Our lifelong dream is to bring joy to others through cooking and cultural connections. We created a unique food truck that not only serves ice cream and desserts, it also represents the culture of our community and generation.

 

We have unique beats that plays from our truck to tie in the traditional ice cream theme with the urban music that we grew up on. It is so fun to watch children and adults dance in the streets when they see our truck pulling up!

The pandemic set the growth of our business back substantially. We have exhausted help from the SBA and other resources, so we need our community to help us achieve our dream of a long lasting and sustainable food truck. We would also love to use our food truck turned solar powered as a business model for other POC and minority entrepreneurs like us to succeed and contribute to reducing emissions on our planet.

Along with converting our food truck to solar power, your donations will also help us purchase recyclable serving products and spread education about going solar to other food trucks in our area. Please help us keep our family business sustainable.
