For the past couple of weeks, this sweet stray pup has been spotted limping through our neighborhood—alone, frightened, and clearly in pain. He’s a young Shepherd (possibly a Malinois mix), and despite everything he’s been through, he’s shown nothing but gentle, kind eyes to those who’ve tried to help him.
Amanda and I, along with several amazing neighbors, have been trying tirelessly to catch him. He would eat from our hands but was too scared to let anyone close enough to leash. His back right leg is injured, and though he runs, it’s clear he needs medical attention.
Last night, after hours of effort and patience, we finally got him. He’s now safe and resting in Amanda’s laundry room. But now that he’s off the streets, he needs immediate vet care, vaccinations, neutering, and microchipping. We also need to provide him with a proper kennel, food, and supplies while he recovers.
