Help us get to the FIRST World Championships!

The Westhampton Beach High School Robotics Team, Winners of the SBPLI1 FIRST Robotics Champions on March 23rd, 2022, has earned the opportunity to participate in FIRST Robotics Worlds Championship in Houston!

 

Our students have placed in national competitions in the past due to their dedication and commitment and the support of local sponsors. COVID restrictions did not permit school team fundraising for the past 2 years – a key component for FIRST students to attend competitions as they are wholly responsible for hotel, transportation, food, and robotics materials.

 

The estimated cost to get to Houston is $45,000 (assuming all team members can attend).

El Equipo de Estudiantes de Westhampton Beach High School Robotics Team, Campeones de la Primera Compentencia Estatal SBPLI1 FIRST Robotics Champions en Marzo 23, 2022, han ganado la oportunidad de participar en la Primera Competencia a Nivel Mundial, que se realizará en Houston!

Nuestros estudiantes han logrado tener un lugar en la Competencia a nivel Nacional en el pasado, esto debido a sus ardua dedicación y compromiso con el Grupo y también gracias al apoyo de patrocinadores locales.
Pero con las restricciones de COVID en los ultimos dos años no se les ha permitido al equipo de la escuela organizar actividades para la recaudación de fondos el cual es una clave componente para el PRIMER grupo de estudiantes para que puedan atender la competencia, ya que ellos son enteramente responsables de todos sus gastos, como la estadía de hotel, transportacion, comida y materiales para el robot.
Los costos estimados para que puedan viajar a Houston es alrededor de $45,000 dolares (asumiendo que todos los miembros del equipo puedan viajar).

5 Noches de estadia de Hotel.
Bus de Transportacion de ida y vuelta al aeropuerto asi como para transportarlos del hotel a la competencia todos los días.
