<div>Astley Warehouse Action Group (the beneficiary being the named Treasurer responsible for the community bank account) was formed to support the residents of Astley whose lives have been impacted by the building of the monstrous warehouses known as Astley Business Park.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Over the last 18 months, the lives of so many have been turned upside down.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>We were told this development wouldn’t have an unacceptable impact on our day to day lives.
</div>
<div><strong>The reality has been very different.</strong>
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>People here are dealing with constant noise, flooding, pollution, structural concerns, and the stress that comes with living next to a large scale industrial site. Homes that were once quiet and secure no longer feel that way.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>We’ve come together as a community to raise awareness, push for answers, and hold decision makers to account.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>This fund will help us continue that fight.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>It will go towards:
</div>
<div>• Legal advice and representation for the Public Enquiry on 10th and 11th November with the Traffic Commissioner, opposing Whistl's application for an Operators licence. This is an opportunity for all those affected to show their support and if eligible give evidence against the licence application.
</div>
<div>Legal advise and representation against those responsible for allowing these warehouse to be erected.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>.• Independent expert reports (planning, environmental, structural, noise, air)
</div>
<div>• Campaign materials and communications
</div>
<div>• Supporting residents directly affected <a href="https://www.facebook.com/groups/1111388880943746/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Facebook support page</a>
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>We’re not doing this lightly.
</div>
<div>We’re doing it because we feel we have no other choice.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>This isn’t just about our street or our village, it’s about accountability, and making sure decisions like this can’t happen without consequences.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>If you’ve followed our story, shared our posts, or believe this isn’t right, your support genuinely means everything.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Thank you.

<div>Please donate what you can and share this page widely. Thank you everyone!
