<div>The <a href="https://www.pdcrailway.com/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Prairie Dog Central Railway</a> , operated by The Vintage Locomotive Society, runs Canada's oldest operating Steam Locomotive.

<div>Prior to arriving at the Prairie Dog Central, Steam Locomotive No.3 had a rich history of running throughout Canada including helping to complete the CPR (now known as CPKC) in 1885.

<div>Nestled just outside of Winnipeg in Manitoba, the Prairie Dog Central welcomes thousands of passengers each year. The biggest attraction is our 142 year old Steam Locomotive, built by Dubbs and Company in Glasgow, Scotland in 1882.

<div>We are currently at a critical point where No.3 is having to undergo major repairs, the estimated to cost is $150,000 and we are asking for your help to raise funds and get No.3 back on track in 2025. While our volunteers carry out certain tasks we are having to raise money to pay for the specialist necessary work.

<div>We will continue to run in 2024 using our Vintage Diesel but we are eager to get No.3 back in service for our passengers from Winnipeg, from Manitoba, from Canada and all around the world to enjoy.
