Our wonderful Ruth, a beautiful lady inside and out!
I was with Ruth very recently and she was telling me about her son Thomas who will be representing Australia in the finals of a very prestigious competition where hopefully he will walk away as GLOBAL Champion. She says that being this incredible young man’s Mamma is by far the biggest honour and privilege of her life.
Tom told me that having his Mum there would mean the absolute world!! Knowing that she is in the crowd cheering him on. Knowing that he can give her a great big hug! Seeing her smile, having her beautiful, healing energy around him!!
WOW… gives me chills!
But, with things the way they are at the moment Ruth doesn’t know how she is going to make the trip to Nashville to support and cheer on her boy because she doesn’t have the funds needed to get there plus she has recently been given devastating news.
Ruth is a cancer survivor but she went for a check-up recently and the results were not great. Intervention is needed and Ruth has to have treatment. It’ll take a while to decide which treatment/treatments are necessary so once again her life becomes patched with uncertainty.
She doesn’t pretend to be Wonder woman (although she has the T-shirt ) and as soon as she heard, she had a major meltdown! But after speaking to her son, her husband and her best friend she knew she was blessed with unwavering love and support.
Ruth’s an incredible coach with the hugest heart and whatever she is going through personally she’s always looking for a way to help others. In fact her life revolves around helping and supporting others. One of her closest friends, Toni told me “what never ceases to amaze me about Ruth is even when she’s in a personal hell, she’ll never ever complain or whinge, she just gets on with it and always finds a way to help others too. Her biggest strength is turning her adversities into advantages to benefit others! What she’s doing for Cancer research and the Pro bonus coaching for cancer patients is just another example of her selfless heart!”
She goes on to explain that mindset is key here. We actually have the luxury to decide what thoughts and information we can accept or reject in our conscious mind. Whatever we accept flows into our subconscious mind. The subconscious mind cannot accept or reject. It simply is. Whatever is playing in our subconscious mind manifests in our life. Just like 14 months ago when Ruth first got her cancer diagnosis, She choose to reject the idea of cancer in her body. This isn’t denial. She KNOW’S it’s there but she’s still not planning on hanging out with it on a regular basis! What you focus on grows. It’s a universal law.
Ruth and her husband Salvatore would also love to renew their vows on a beach somewhere.
After more than 30 years of knowing each other they are still so in love and Ruth says that she would marry him a thousand times over.
So with all that said, the objective of this GoFundMe page is to raise enough money for Ruth to fly out to Nashville to be with her son and hopefully watch him lift the IsaBodyChallenge trophy prior to having her treatment.
Her son’s championship finals will take place on August 10th – 13th 2019 and we need to book flights within the next week or so, so please guys, we’re reaching out to all of you to delve deep and give whatever you can to help Ruth fulfil two missions that are so very close to her heart. However big or small every penny counts!
