Help Us Get Justin’s Headstone

Hi, I’m Dustin and I’m trying to raise the money we need to purchase and place a headstone at my brother’s grave.

Those of you that knew Justin knew him as a kind and caring person that was never unwilling to step up and help those he cared about.

A little over three years ago Justin lost his mother to cancer.

Around a year and a half ago I offered to take him into my home and give him a better environment.  At first he refused.  Then, about a year ago, he reached out to me.  He stated that he couldn't take his lifestyle any more and that he needed help to better himself.  He moved into my home that same day last summer.

In January 2021 he suffered a seizure in my living room which resulted in the destruction of his right shoulder.  Since then he'd been attending occupational therapy as he tried to regain use of his right arm.

Justin's injury meant he couldn't work.  He left behind no assets, having lost most of his belongings several years ago due to a payment issue with his storage unit. Since then, all he owns has fit into the corner of his bedroom in my home.

We have spent in excess of $10,000 to have his body prepared and interred.

We’re not asking for help with what we’ve already paid.  We are asking for help with the headstone for his grave.

Please consider donating any amount to help us reach our goal. Any donations in excess of our stated goal will help to offset what has already been paid.

No matter how or how much you help, if you can, it will have a huge impact as we work through this tragedy.  It was a blessing to be able to see so many family members and to meet so many of his friends at the memorial service.
