My name is Marco, and I’m reaching out for help to keep my family and the animals we care for safe and healthy. I work as a customer service associate at Walgreens, traveling 12 miles each way to support my wife, our autistic son who has ADHD and emotional challenges, and a large group of rescue dogs and feral cats. My wife stays home to care for our son and the animals while I’m at work, and our son relies on regular therapy and psychiatric appointments that require reliable transportation.

 Our only vehicle, which is over 21 years old, recently broke down with a failed transmission. Without it, I can’t get to work, and my family can’t get to the appointments and supplies we need. Over the years, we’ve rescued 20 dogs abandoned after the pandemic and have helped trap and neuter dozens of feral cats displaced by local development. Our financial situation has changed drastically, and we no longer have the resources to replace our vehicle on our own.
