<div>Our daughter Isabelle, is 12 years old and lives with Rett syndrome.

<div>She is full of personality, loves being with her sisters, LOVES watching youtube and absolutely lights up when she gets to stand in the kitchen and “help” with baking.

</div>

<div>Standing isn’t just something she enjoys — it’s incredibly important for her health.

</div>

<div>Because she has very thin bones and scoliosis, regular standing helps:

<div>Support her bone strength

</div>

<div>Promote better posture

</div>

<div>Help with digestion and circulation

</div>

<div>Reduce discomfort

</div>

<div>Improve her overall wellbeing

<div>Right now, standing requires a big effort. We have to manually transfer her from her buggy into a separate standing frame. It takes time, physical strain, and a lot of handling — and in a small house like ours, it also means having multiple very large pieces of equipment taking up precious space.

<div>We’re hoping to raise funds for a specialist wheelchair that transforms into a standing frame — an all-in-one piece of equipment that would change daily life for her and for us.

<div>Most importantly, it would give her more opportunities to participate in everyday family life at eye level — something she truly loves.

<div>This equipment is expensive, but the benefits for her health, comfort, and happiness are enormous. It isn’t just a wheelchair. It’s better bone health. It’s support for her spine. It’s freedom to stand when she wants. It’s more inclusion in daily family life.
