Help SEVENS haul food!

The SEVENS food pantry needs your help!
Thirteen years ago, SEVENS started as a ministry to assist our friends living on the streets. Besides providing sleeping bags, clean socks, and other necessary items, every Saturday night we served a hot, home-cooked meal in a public park in Boulder, Colorado. We did this for eight and a half years.
Seven years ago, we started our food pantry to meet needs outside of weekly meals. It's taken donations, scouring the region for opportunities and some serious couponing skills, but it's been a God-send to provide extra snacks and supplies for our street friends. Plus, we've helped hard-working families who were struggling to pay their bills and buy groceries.
Over the years, the needs have changed, and so have the resources we are able to provide. Opportunities range from picking up unwanted grocery store items to ordering food from a local food bank. Our food pantry has blossomed. We're honored to have a great volunteer team who helps us serve and love our neighbors in need.
Now we are the ones in need.
In January, two of our three vehicles went to be with Jesus. Since then, we've been borrowing a minivan from some generous friends. While we are extremely grateful for the loaner, it is a temporary fix. A minivan isn't hefty enough for the two tons of food we haul monthly. Our friends need their van back and we need your help.
A large, heavy-duty vehicle is essential to continuing the work of the food bank. We need something reliable and spacious to transport the food we order, sort, and distribute each month. A box truck is not practical for deliveries in neighborhoods with tighter streets. We would prefer something big enough to tow a trailer, so we are aiming for a Suburban or Excursion that will last us several more years as we continue to run our food pantry.
Thank you for considering partnering with us to make this happen!
