fundraising for Tanzania 2020

In 2020, Galashiels Academy is running a trip to Tanzania to help a team of local builders build a house for a family in need. (The expedition is set up and ran by the charity Vine Trust.) While we are In Tanzania we will be visiting previous vine trust expeditions ( to see the difference they've made), local orphanages and safari's. We are 2 of around 25 students who will be travelling. To be able to go on this once in a life time trip we have to fundraise around £3,000 each. This will cover the costs of flights, transport, accommodation, food, building materials and the safari trip we will go on. Over the next 11 months we will be doing a number of different fundraisers to help reach our targeted amount. We would appreciate any donations. Thank you in advance. Lauren and Siobhan.
