Help Fund My Grandmother's Visionary Film

Hi,

My name is Ife and I am raising money to finish a film about my grandmother. We have been working on this project together for 4 years. Ebun offers a unique perspective as a woman of color who has embraced a spiritual solution to healing, and empowerment. Ebun models the processof women trusting their intuition, visions and moving beyond fear to fulfill their purpose.

With your help we will be able to complete this narrative set in New York, South Dakota, Australia, and Ghana. The film chronicles Ebun Laughing Crow Adelona’s life from 1980 to 2021. After suffering PTSD from an FBI raid in her Harlem apartment, Ebun Laughing Crow Adelona began searching for ways to heal her trauma. Through her healing process, she discovered her purpose to heal the trauma of women across the world through sun dance ceremony and prayer.

In order to complete her vision, she is traveling to the four directions of the world praying for the empowerment of women. I have come along on her journey to document and inspire others to follow their visions. These funds will help us complete the last interviews and final edits to the film in Spring 2022.
