<div>Hello, my name is Pavlo and my wife is Yulia.

<div>Our small family had to flee our home in Kyiv, Ukraine due to the war. In December 2023, after months of spending nights hiding in the subway during air raids, we made the difficult decision to leave our home and move to Poland in hopes of giving Eva a safe and peaceful place to grow up.

<div>We were starting to build our new life for Eva, I found work and we found a place to live and on May 21st this year, we even managed a joyful celebration of Eva’s 4th birthday. A day filled with laughter and love.
</div>

</div>
<div>But everything changed on June 17th, when Eva suddenly fell ill. She complained of neck and head pain and cried for hours. The day before, we had gone swimming, so I thought it might just be sore muscles or a small cold. But on the morning of June 22nd, things got drastically worse. Eva cried nonstop for two hours, and then we noticed something terrifying — she could no longer speak clearly. Instead of words, she could only force out broken sounds.

<div>We rushed her to the hospital. A CT scan was done immediately, and she was transferred to the neurosurgery department at the main children’s hospital. There, a neurosurgeon took me aside and said the words no parent should ever hear:

<div>“Your daughter has a malignant tumor in the brainstem. It’s inoperable. The prognosis is very poor.”
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Time stopped the floor fell away from me and we couldn't believe it. What followed was grief, shock, and endless tears.
</div>

</div>
<div>Eva underwent surgery the next morning to place a shunt to relieve pressure on her brain. Her condition improved for one day… and then it started to get worse again. We were told that a biopsy was essential to identify the specific type of tumor — only then could we try targeted therapy, which might give her a chance. Without it, the only option would be radiotherapy… followed by inevitable progression of the disease.

<div>We chose to do the biopsy. After the operation, we faced yet another heartbreak — Eva was partially paralyzed on the right side of her body. She couldn’t move her right arm or leg.
</div>

</div>
<div>Now, a month later, Eva is undergoing radiotherapy. On a shortened course with higher doses. Every day, we work with Eva: we play ball, we do exercises, we stretch, we sing. And something beautiful is happening — Eva is moving again. She’s even started riding her little scooter through the oncology ward, surprising all the doctors with her strength and determination.

<div>We believe in God, in miracles, and in never giving up. We are now doing everything we can to find a real treatment for Eva, one that can give her a chance at life. 
</div>

<div>We’re looking for clinical trials, new therapies, and experts around the world who might help us save our little girl. We came to My Personal Therapeutics Foundation to help us fund personalized disease modeling to identify the treatment that has the best chance of working for Eva. 
</div>

<div>Vivan Therapeutics has recently had success in identifying glioblastoma therapies targeting specific mutations and we are so hopeful that with their help we can find an effective treatment using existing drugcombinations.
</div>

</div>
<div>This campaign will be used to quickly create a personalized tumor model for Eva paired with screening all possible approved therapeutic drug combinations and then open access to the treatment identified with a leading oncologist.
</div>
