Dear Friends and Kind-Hearted Souls,

I never imagined I would be in this position, but today, I am reaching out for your prayers and support for my mom, Estrella Ramos, who is in the Philippines. At 74 years old, she has been bravely battling serious health issues, and our family is doing everything we can to meet her medical needs.

Last September, she underwent her first ERCP to drain blockages in her pancreas followed by another procedure in December. Unfortunately, the device used is only effective for three months, meaning she now requires another intervention.

During these treatments, doctors discovered a tumor in her pancreatic head. Thankfully, a biopsy confirmed it is benign, which was a relief. However, due to her condition, she now needs a metal stent placed in her pancreas to restore proper function. Unlike the previous procedures, this stent could last six months to a year, but it comes at a significantly higher cost.

With heavy hearts, my siblings and I made the difficult decision not to proceed with the highly invasive Whipple surgery due to the risks involved. Instead, we are doing everything possible to gather funds for this life-saving procedure.

We humbly ask for any financial assistance to help cover her medical care costs and future surgeries in the upcoming months.
