<div>Our Dad, <strong>Carlos Latalladi</strong>, is currently in the ICU in critical condition after suffering from severe pneumonia, respiratory failure, and then a cardiac arrest, all occurring within a 15-minute span. Unfortunately, due to the cardiac arrest, his heart had stopped for 18 minutes. Doctors were able to bring him back, but ever since, he has been on a ventilator and unresponsive. We're waiting on further tests to get a gauge, but the current outlook is heartbreaking.

<div>As we fight for answers and hold onto hope, we're also facing mountainous medical expenses. <strong>Our dad didn't have healthcare, and so the costs of his hospitalization are continuing to pile on.</strong> We've been told the costs for his hospitalization could be anything from hundreds of thousands to possibly even millions.

<div>If you're local to our community, you may know our dad as a hardworking landscaper, handyman, and present community member. He's beloved by 200+ clients and known for going the extra mile for everyone possible when given the opportunity. But to us, he's more than that. He's a provider, protector, mentor, and overall, he's our entire foundation.

<div>He's the proud father of two daughters and a son, helping fund our college education and fully supporting our family emotionally, physically, and financially. He's the kind of man who lived by one main quote: "Grab the bull by the horns and make today your bitch." He found humor in everything and loved to make people laugh, even if it was at him sleeping on his knees, which is how he would fall asleep due to the 2 fake kneecaps he has from playing football and getting hit by a car. His favorite room in the house was "His office" (His bathroom). That's where you'd find him writing emails to clients or scrolling TikTok, sending every funny video he could find to us, and making jokes with our mom.

<div>Carlos deeply cared about the community. He served as HOA President and volunteered regularly wherever he could and wherever help was needed. He's even spent the last 8 years supporting the Osceola High School Band program, donating his time, tools, and truck without hesitation. That was just the kind of man that our father was.

<div>Since his hospitalization, everything has fallen onto our shoulders, and we've stepped in to manage his business and keep our home stable through these tough times as best we can. We're trying our best to stay afloat, but the reality is, <strong>we're drowning.</strong>
