Help us fight for Don

Donation protected
In March 2018, my dad was diagnosed with stage IV lung and lymphatic cancer. Being a non-smoker, the diagnosis was a shock to him and our family.

Initially, my dad's oncologist thought he would only need four rounds of chemotherapy. As my dad seemed to improve, we all had hope that he would return to work just in time as his medical leave at work expired. My dad has since had two more rounds of chemotherapy and the prognosis is dire. My dad will be losing his job at the end of this month, as he is unable to return to work.

Since my dad has reached the maximum amount of chemo a person can be given, he has begun exploring other treatment options at Stanford.

We are asking for help for his upcoming medical expenses as he explores other treatment options without health insurance or a job. Our family will also be moving him from Northern California back to San Diego so he can be closer to friends and family. And when the time comes, we would like to have options for hospice care.

Our family is devastated by this whole ordeal and we are wanting to maximize his time with us. When the time comes, we want him to be comfortable and not worry about leaving. Any help you can provide our dad will be greatly appreciated. Our dad is a loving father and friend. He will sacrifice everything he has for his loved one's and is always the first to offer his help.  I would love to show him the generosity and help that he is always showing to others.
