<div><br />
</div>
<div>Hi, we’re Safe House for Animals (SHFA) — a small but determined team working every single day to rescue, feed, and care for injured and abandoned animals in and around Gurgaon, Haryana.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>We’ve reached a breaking point. And we need your help.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div><strong>The Crisis We're Facing</strong>
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Every morning, our team sets out to feed over 360 street dogs who depend solely on us for their only meal of the day. Prices of rice and essential supplies have skyrocketed, and our funds are running dangerously low.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>At our shelter, over 110 animals — senior dogs, abandoned cows, injured calves, blind puppies — are recovering from trauma, illness, and years of neglect. Outside, more keep coming.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Our free clinic (OPD) is flooded with animals from nearby villages. Many come with open wounds, infections, broken bones — their owners unable to afford even the most basic care. We treat them all.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>But the demand is overwhelming. Feed is running out. Medical tests are getting delayed. And sterilisation drives — crucial to reducing suffering on the streets — are on hold.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div><strong>Why We’re Asking for Help</strong>
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Feed is no longer affordable. Rice and supplies now cost almost double what they did just a few months ago. We can no longer guarantee meals for dogs on our routes — many of whom are old, injured, or nursing.
</div>
<div>Street dog population is growing rapidly. Puppies born on roads face sickness, accidents, and abuse. Sterilisation is our only humane, long-term solution. We urgently need funds to restart these drives.
</div>
<div>Animals are suffering without treatment. Our OPD treats animals from 15 villages — but we are struggling to buy basic diagnostic kits and medicines.
</div>
<div>Donkeys need a shelter too. We are now trying to create a new safe space for injured and abandoned donkeys— many of whom collapse after a life of hard labor and mistreatment. We want to give them peace. We want to give them dignity.
</div>
<div>Who We Are
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div><strong>Safe House for Animals is not just a shelter. It's a lifeline.</strong>
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>We’re a rescue and rehabilitation center under The Care and Compassion Society (CACS). For 10 years, we’ve fed, treated, vaccinated, and sheltered animals that everyone else forgets — dogs run over by cars, cows left bleeding on highways, newborn calves thrown away as waste, and old animals dumped when they’re no longer “useful.”
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>We operate without government aid. Every act of kindness — every meal, every bandage, every tail wag — is made possible by people like you.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div><strong>Where Your Donation Goes</strong>
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Your donation, no matter how big or small, goes directly to:
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<ul>
<li>Feeding street and shelter animals (dogs, cows and bulls)
</li>
<li>Critical medical tests &amp; medicines for injured animals
</li>
<li>Sterilization drives to reduce population and prevent cruelty
</li>
<li>Constructing a shed for abandoned donkeys
</li>
<li>Vaccinations to protect against deadly diseases like rabies and canine distemper
</li>
</ul>
<div><br />
</div>
<div><strong>Why do I want to help</strong>
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>I have been helping them for 2 years now. I visited their shelter and liked the honesty and compassion in their work towards animals. They have been able to make a difference through their own resources and I decided to help them in a bigger way.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div><strong>How will the funds be utilised</strong>
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<ul>
<li>A donkey shed will be built in a 60/30 feet dimension with a boundary.
</li>
</ul>
<div><br />
</div>
<ul>
<li>It will help us in buying around 2000 kg rice ( our monthly need)
</li>
</ul>
<div><br />
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div><strong> How You Can Help</strong>
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>We’re trying to raise £2,000, and every single contribution matters. Here's how you can make a real, tangible difference:
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Donate Whatever You Can
</div>
<div>Whether it’s £5, £50, or £500 — your donation will go directly to feeding animals, funding life-saving medical care, building shelter infrastructure, and restarting vital sterilisation drives. Even the smallest amount can feed a hungry dog for days.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Share Our Story
</div>
<div>Even if you can’t donate right now, sharing this campaign with friends, family, and colleagues can create a ripple effect. Awareness saves lives too.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>In-Kind Support
</div>
<div>If you're in India and can offer pet food, medical supplies, blankets, construction materials, or transport help, we welcome all forms of support.
</div>
